Hi Friends, IEI Has published a list of Students passed AMIE Section A in Winter 2016 with the postal tracking numbers of the registered post. So check your number and name and keep track of the post man to get the Original AMIE Section A Grade Card.

1. For Branch Code and Subject Codes, please refer Rules (Vol.1) effective from summer 2005 examinations as per Revised Syllabi. Also available at www.ieindia.org- Academic- Information- Course content. 

2. A candidate is required to send a demand draft of `4800/- towards registration fee with application form. 

3. Candidate is expected to be engaged in engineering profession with a registered engineering establishment. As such the signature of the Engineer/Employing Authority is prerequisite in the application form. Certification by T/ST members will not be accepted. 

4. Candidate is required to opt three optional subjects from any one group. 

5. Please affix one passport size photograph on the specified space. No separate Identity Card will be issued for Section B Examination. You will have to use the existing Identity card for Section B examinations as well.

6. In case your recorded address is changed, please fill up the form for change of address/replacement of Identity Card.

7. Demand Draft(s) should be drawn in favour of ‘The Institution of Engineers (India)’ payable at Kolkata.

Step-4 : Code No. of Optional Subjects Choice : Click on the below Branch links to view the subjects code numbers of respective optional subjects. Check and select the subjects as per your wish and keeping in mind the project work. Select optional subjects and do project work related to that optional subjects.

Step-5 : Write the details of the DD and details. Make signature with date

Step-6 : Certificate Of Engagement: Fill all the details in this part, SL No. 1,2,3,4 are self explanatory. This part is must for all. BUt in the signature part check this,

Step-7 : Do the Signature in the block with black colour and Paste Passport size photo. Do not sign on the photograph.

Step-8 : Take the form to Corporate Member in the grade of FIE/MIE/AMIE. He will write membership number and name and signature.

Step-9 : Make a copy of DD and the completed and keep it with you. Send Original form and DD to the following address:- On the Cover Write ‘APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION OF SECTION B’

AMIE Project & Laboratory Applying Last Date is 10 May 2017.
Apply for AMIE project work and laboratory experiments after declaration of winter 2016 results. Last Date, Download forms. 

 Winter 2016 results are declared. IEI has published list of candidates eligible for Project and Lab experiments. So check out your name, print the forms and send the forms immediately.

 For all candidates eligible for laboratory experiments and project work after passing minimum of 5 subjects in section B after declaration of Winter 2016 results.

1. In case you wish to start the project work and/or laboratory experiments in Jun-Jul 2017 session, you are directed to return the 

(a) Application proforma for project work available below –“Guidelines for Project Work and laboratory experiments - Appendix – I” along with demand draft of Rs 3000/-(US $200 for overseas candidates); 

(b) application proforma for registration of laboratory experiments also available below –“Guidelines for Project Work and laboratory experiments- Appendix – IV” along with demand draft of Rs 7000/-(US $400 for overseas candidates) and (c) choice of engineering college/institute for laboratory experiments amongst the list provided in www.ieindia.org- Academics- Sections A & B examinations- Colleges for Lab Experiments, so as to reach this office latest by 10 May 2017. 

2. On receipt of the completed proforma(s) and fees, you will be allotted the project guide for guiding your project work and the college/institute for laboratory experiments. The details of allocated project guide and college for laboratory experiments will be uploaded in website after 28th May 2017.

3. Application proforma(s) with fees, if received after the stipulated date, shall not be processed in Jun-Jul 2017 session. Interim inquiries in this matter shall not be entertained. No separate hard copy of application forms for laboratory and project work will be sent by

IF RESULT SHOWS

1. NIL -- MEANS YOU HAVE NOT CLEARED ANY SUBJECTS APPEARED IN THE EXAM.

2. IF SUBJECT CODE IS DISPLAYED LIKE AD-302, AD-303 -- YOU HAVE CLEARED AD 302 AND AD 303 (GOT AT LEAST C GRADE)

3. PASS: -- MEANS YOU HAVE PASSED SECTION A/ SECTION B PASSED FULLY INCLUDING PROJECT WORK AND LAB

4. CODE 901 AND 902 MEANS PROJECT WORK AND LAB

[Latest IEI Update] Winter 2016 AMIE Section A&B Results declared at 15:30 Hrs on 03 Apr 17

Winter 2016 AMIE Section A & B Results Declared at 15:30 Hrs on 03 Apr 2017. Hurray Check below

Winter 2016 AMIE Section A & B Results may be declared in 1st week of April 2017 (May be on 4th April 2017 or 5th April 2017). 

AMIE Winter 2016 Results. However there no guarantee can be given on the release of Winter 16 results. 
Hi Friends Just Now (11:20 on 03 Apr 17) I have spoken to IEI HQ on this number 033-40106307. He said AMIE Winter 16 Results May be declared on 04 Apr 17 or 05 Apr 17. He said "Kal Ya Parson Result nikal jayega". You need to keep waiting.
After going through confusion about these results dates, I have sent an Email to IEI. IEI replied promptly within 12 hours. Now its official news from IEI that AMIE WINTER 16 RESULTS will be declared in 1st week of April 2017. Check my Email Screenshot.

There is also another point to think about the results. Tamil Nadu MIE Winter Exams also held somewhat late. So, There is a possibility that IEI can take some more time, may be another 10 days or so after 25 Mar 17. However IEI must declare result at least before 05 Apr 17.

Winter 2016 Result not yet declared. tricks are not working. After Using the trick of changing "verifyex" with "listmemex", it is showing "not passed in any subject" for all students. But It is showing winter 2016 roll number. So Conclusion is they did not uploaded winter 16 result.



Another Student called IEI HQ by telephone and he says that IEI Official told to Check Winter 16 result on 01 Apr 17.

Most Importantly, Some Students have received Email from IEI. Email says that those who has paid Rs 3000 as Examination Fees for Winter 2016 will only be able to see their Winter 2016 exam result. All students who had paid only Rs 2000 now have to pay the remaining Rs 1000 to view the Winter 2016 exams result.

KIND ATTENTIONS MEMBERS, ALL OF YOU KNOW THAT THE WINTER 2016 RESULTS ARE BEING DELAYED AND MAY BE DECLARED IN FIRST WEEK OF APRIL 2017. SO, STUDENTS PASSING SECTION A IN WINTER 2016 WILL HAVE VERY LESS TIME TO FILL THE SECTION B REG FORM AND EXAM FORM. 

ENQUIRE ABOUT THE CORPORATE MEMBER WHO LIVES NEARBY AND MAKE DD OF REQUISITE FEE (Rs 4800, Check Latest Fees from IEI Official Link), DECIDE OPTIONAL SUBJECTS OF SECTION B, WHICH SUBJECTS TO APPEAR IN SUMMER 2017.

1. REGISTRATION FORM AND NEW BLANK IDENTITY CARD WILL BE SENT BY IEI TO YOUR REGISTERED ADDRESS. YOU WILL GET THE GRADE CARD OF SEC -A ALONG WITH THE SECTION -B REGISTRATION FORM. (this may be delayed due to delay in results, you can download and use the soft copy of the form)

2. AS SOON AS U RECEIVE THE SEC B FORM FILL IT PROPERLY, GET ID CARD ATTESTED BY CORPORATE MEMBER (THIS IS MUST) AND ALSO FILL DETAILS OF EXPERIENCE. THIS EXPERIENCE COLOUMN MUST BE SIGNED BY YOUR SENIOR ENGINEER/OFFICER (THIS IS MUST) 

(IF HE IS NOT AMIE/FIE/MIE YOU CAN LEAVE HIS MEMBERSHIP NUMBER BLANK: CHECK THE FOLLOWING IMAGE). IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE ADDRESS, ALSO FILL CHANGE OF ADDRESS FORM ATTACHED IN IT. 

(NOTE: DO NOT SEND THE FORM WITHOUT FILLING THE CERTIFICATE OF ENGAGEMENT IF U SEND IT TO IEI THEY WILL REJECT YOUR FORM AND SEND BACK THE FORM TO YOU, SO BE CAREFUL)

3. SEND PROPERLY FILLED SEC-B REGISTRATION FORM AND I CARD TO IEI BY SPEED POST WITH A DD OF RS. 4800/-. (Check Latest Fees from IEI Official Website) . IN CASE OF CHANGE OF ADDRESS, ALSO SEND DD OF RS. 150/-.

4. ALONG WITH THIS, SEND THE PROPERLY FILLED EXAMINATION FORM FOR SUMMER 2017 EXAMS ALSO WITH DD OF RS 3000. (PLEASE NOTE THAT EXAM FEE IS INCREASED FROM RS 2000 TO RS 3000)


THE SECOND WAY

YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE SOFT COPY FILL IT AND SEND THE SEC-B REGISTRATION FORM TO IEI AS PER ABOVE PROCEDURE




AS SOON AS U RECEIVE THE SEC B FORM FILL IT PROPERLY, GET ID CARD ATTESTED BY CORPORATE MEMBER (THIS IS MUST) AND ALSO FILL DETAILS OF EXPERIENCE. 

THIS EXPERIENCE COLOUMN MUST BE SIGNED BY YOUR SENIOR ENGINEER/OFFICER (THIS IS MUST) (IF HE IS NOT AMIE/FIE/MIE YOU CAN LEAVE HIS MEMBERSHIP NUMBER BLANK: CHECK THE FOLLOWING IMAGE). 

IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE ADDRESS, ALSO FILL CHANGE OF ADDRESS FORM ATTACHED IN IT. 

(NOTE: DO NOT SEND THE FORM WITHOUT FILLING THE CERTIFICATE OF ENGAGEMENT IF U SEND IT TO IEI THEY WILL REJECT YOUR FORM AND SEND BACK THE FORM TO YOU, SO BE CAREFUL)

3. SEND PROPERLY FILLED SEC-B REGISTRATIONFORM AND I CARD TO IEI BY SPEED POST WITH A DD OF RS. 4800/-. (CHECK LATEST FEE WITH IEINDIA.ORG). IN CASE OF CHANGE OF ADDRESS, ALSO SEND DD OF RS. 150/-.

4. ALONG WITH THIS, SEND THE PROPERLY FILLED EXAMINATION FORM FOR WINTER 2016 EXAMS ALSO WITH DD OF RS 3000 (PLEASE NOTE THAT EXAM FEE IS INCREASED FROM RS 2000 TO RS 3000). YOU WILL GET PHOTO IDENTITY CARD FROM IEI.

(NOTE: ALWAYS KEEP THE XEROX OF DOCUMENTS U HAVE SEND TO IEI. IF YOU KEEP XEROX COPIES OF THESE FORM, IN CASE YOUR FORMS NOT GET RECEIVED BY IEI IN TIME, STILL YOU CAN APPEAR FOR EXAMS BY SUBMITTING AN UNDERTAKING CERTIFICATE AT EXAM HALL)

QUESTION 2: HOW TO FILL THE SECTION B REGISTRATION FORM?


ANSWER: FOLLOWS THE STEPS:

1. FILL NAME AND MEMBERSHIP NO ___________________________
( WRITE NAME AND M.NO)

2 . PASSED SEC A IN ____________ WITH R.NO____________
(FILL SUMMER/WINTER YEAR WITH R.NO

NOTE IF U GET THE SEC -B FORM FROM IEI 1 AND 2 ARE ALREADY PRINTED
AND IF U DOWNLOAD THE FORM THEN U HAVE TO FILL 1 AND 2)

3.CHOSE BRANCH OF ENGINEERING AND 3 OPTIONAL SUBJECTS
(NOTE 1: AFTER CHOOSING BRANCH U HAVE TO CHOSE 1 OPTIONAL GROUP AND THEN CHOSE 3 SUBJECTS FROM THAT GROUP )

(NOTE 2:SELECTION OF OPTIONAL SUBJECTS CRITERIA IN ARCHITECTURAL ENGG BRANCH IS DIFFERENT FROM ALL OTHER BRANCHES . YOU NEED TO SELECT ANY ONE OPTIONAL FROM EACH GROUP.)

4. THEN FILL THE CERTIFICATE OF ENGAGEMENT.

5. GET ID CARD ATTESTED BY CORPORATE MEMBER AND ALSO FILL DETAILS OF EXPERIENCE. THIS EXPERIENCE COLUMN MUST BE SIGNED BY YOUR SENIOR ENGINEER (MEMBER OR NON MEMBER OF IEI). IF YOUR ADDRESS IS CHANGED FROM THE PREVIOUS ONE THEN ALSO FILL CHANGE OF ADDRESS FORM ATTACHED IN IT. 

THE THIRD WAY 

1. YOU CAN FILL THE SECTION B REGISTRATION FORM ONLINE IN IEINDIA.ORG WEBSITE FROM THE FOLLOWING LINK. PAY THE REQUISITE FEES (Rs 4800. Check Latest Fees from IEI Official Website) ONLINE AND SEND THE PHYSICAL FORM ALSO WITH SIGNATURES OF CORPORATE MEMBER AND EMPLOYER.


Should I send the Duly filled Physical copy of Section B Registration Form after applying Online for Section B? Many students are asking me above question. 


I have sent an Email to IEI HQ (Authorized Email address available at IEI Contact Us page) yesterday. I got reply today (IEI So fast). Now Its confirmed that After Online registration of Section B, you must send the physical form after filling all details and employer signature, IEI member signature etc.

ANSWER: THE IEI DECLARES LIST OF SEC-B REGISTERED MEMBERS FROM TIME TO TIME SO KEEP VISITING IEI WEBSITE AND MEMBERS U CAN CHECK INTERACTIVE HELP DESK AT IEI DIAL THE NUMBER 033 4015 5400.

MEMBERS ARE TO KEY-IN 7 DIGIT MEMBERSHIP NUMBER AND FIRST 11 DIGITS OF THE REFERENCE NUMBER RECEIVED THROUGH SMS OR LETTER FROM IEI (AS APPLICABLE) AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTION AS SOUNDED BY THE SYSTEM.

NOTE: 1. KEEP CHECKING IEI WEBSITE FOR FOR SEC -B LIST.

ONCE LIST IF PUBLISHED, YOU CAN APPEAR IN WINTER EXAM.
